Office Communications Server 2007  (Germany)

Hello,

does somebody got experience in connecting Office Communications Server 2007 with swyx 6.12?

So that I'm able to route calls from office communicator to Telephone number?

Thanks.

Hi,

yep it was tested sucessfully. See kb3580 of the Swyx KB. Please keep in mind, the SIP implementatio of the OCS2007 is fragmentary. Transfer calls is not possible.

And here is the link to that article:

Further informations on supported/integrated products can be taken from the Swyx Partner Programme page:

The OCS is listed there as well.

Is there a step by step manual for making outbound calls through ocs mediation server (2007 R2) and swyxware from communicator? The specified kb article only seems to refer to Exchange voicemail integration.

What I've already done:

- created new trunk group 'OCS Trunk' with Exchange 2007 profile for TCP communication in SwyxWare Admin

- On SIP tab entered ip address of the OCS mediation server in proxy field with port 5060 (PSTN Gateway port in OCS)

- Created trunk 'OCS' within 'OCS Trunk' trunk group of type SIP

- Specified PSTN Gateway next hop in OCS 2007 R2 Mediation server to the swyxware server port 65002, transport type TCP
