Hold Music doesn't change  (United Kingdom)

Hiya,

I have recently installled OpenQueue on a clients system but they have asked for the hold music to be replaced with a ringing sound.  I created a wav file with the ringing sound in the correct format and applied it but the hold music heard when the call is waiting is the one set in SwyxWare Admin.

How can i change this?

Thanks, Gwyn.

Re: Hold Music doesn't change  (Germany)

Gwyn,

how does your script look like ? Is it possible that you have connected the "already exists" exit from the "create queue" action directly with the "process call by queue" action ? In this case the changes you do in the "set parameter" block will not be executed, ie.e written into the database.

Tom.

Re: Hold Music doesn't change  (United Kingdom)

Hi Tom,

I connect as in the example script, from the default and Queue Exists exits of the Create Queue, into the Set Parameter block and then from the default exit of that block into the Process Call by Queue block.

I have just realised that I set the Category in the database as RingTones by mistake, changed it to HoldMusic and now the call is dropped out of the Destination Not Reachable exit as there are no available users to answer where it should be queued.

Any ideas?

Are there any of the group users logged in ?

Please sent me a server trace including such a test call into the queue.

Tom.
