Swyxfax Port error  (United Kingdom)

When I try to send a Word document as a fax by selecting print and then Swyxfax, I get the following error...SwyxFax Port, CreateProcessAsUser failed, error code=2

I am able to send a quick Fax via the SwyxFax Client, but not from a document.

So, dieses Thema mal wieder aktuell machen.

Hab im Moment das selbe Problem.

Hab hier 30 Benutzer. Bei 29 von denen funktioniert der Faxclient wunderbar. Nur bei einem habe ich dieses Problem.

Der Rechner ist erst neu aufgesetzt, wie die anderen auch.

Faxclient wurde bereits ohne Erfolg mehrfach deinstalliert und wieder installiert.

System ist ein Windows 7 professional 64bit.

Auf anderen win7 64 bit Systemen funktionierts aber auch wunderbar.

Der Benutzer hat die selben Rechte wie andere Rechner auch.

Hat einer eine Idee, wo der Fehler liegen und wie ich ihn beheben kann?

Werd morgen mal versuchen, mich mit einem anderen Benutzer dort einzuloggen, bei dem der Faxclient funtioniert. So kann dann wenigstens eingegrenzt werden, ob es am Benutzer oder am System liegt. Werd dann anschließend hier wieder Rückmeldung geben.

Hab jetzt mal ein wenig rumgetestet mit folgenden Erkenntnissen:

  • Das Problem scheint am Rechner zu liegen. Andere Benutzer können dort auch nichts Faxen. Der Standarduser kann an einem anderen Rechner problemlos faxen.
  • Es beschränkt sich nicht nur auf Word. Auch andere Programme sind betroffen.
  • In den Ereignislogs kann ich nichts finden, was auf einen Fehler hindeuten würde.

Wird beim Druck aus anderen Programmen vielleicht irgendwo eine Log-Datei erzeugt, die mir weiterhelfen könnte den Fehler zu beseitigen?

Wenn ja, wo liegt diese Log-Datei?

evtl. Probleme bei den Treibern/Einträgen für den Swyxfax-Drucker ?

welche Treiber sind installiert worden und evtl. mal mit den anderen PC's vergleichen ?

Hallo Frank.

Sorry, daß ich mich erst jetzt melde. Hatte Urlaub.

Also als Treiber ist der X64, also der 64bit-Treiber, installiert.

Vergleich mit anderen Rechnern hat leider auch nichts ergeben. Sieht für mich soweit alles gleich aus.

Treiber kommen alle von einer zentralen Stelle. Sind also auch die gleichen Treiber.

Fehler bei der Treiberinstallation kann ich im Prinzip durch die mehrfache Neuinstallation auch ausschließen, denk ich.

Weitere Vorschläge?
